This eight week session meets from 2:00 to 5:00 every Tuesday starting October 2nd and continuing until Tuesday November 20th. Have you ever wondered how stone sculptors made it look like the model is veiled? or a dress sculpted in bronze seems to blow in the wind. This class will focus on the techniques involved with sculpting drapery. The student will have the liberty to add fabric to any existing nude study from a previous class and or work independent of the figure. Understanding the nature of fabric in order to emulate how it folds and and lies over various surfaces. Heavy or light, wet or dry, fabric follows the rules of nature. This class is designed to meet the student at any level of experience. Beginners welcome. $420 includes all materials and model fees. Limited to 10 students.
